A publication of IOS Press, The Journal of Alzheimer's Disease endeavors to “facilitate progress in understanding, etiology, pathogenesis, epidemiology, genetics, behavior, treatment, and psychology of Alzheimer's Disease.” Through the efforts of expert authors, many of whom are researchers and scientists, the journal provides reviews, communications, hypotheses, research reports, and other material related to Alzheimer's Disease. As a member of the Neuroscience Peer Review Consortium, the journal also publishes manuscripts from its network.

The Journal of Alzheimer's Disease recently released a collection entitled Advances for a New Century, in which selected contributors spoke to the nature of their work and its participants, as well as the importance of research and its future impacts. Abstracts and full articles are available on PubMed and Science Citation Index.
